The Jeanne Antoinette Poisson necklace named after the official mistress of Louis XV marquise - Marquise de Pompadour. As bees played a significant role in the nouveau art age, six sparkling white diamonds embody the shape of a royal bee. It was at this ball that the king publicly declared his affection for Jeanne Antoinette. Before all of the court and the royal family, Louis unmasked himself before Jeanne Antoinette who was dressed as Diana the Huntress in reference to their encounter in the forest of Sénart.
